Hydrolap Expert 170 is a professional lapping machine designed for precise surface finishing of metal components. It is widely used in the refurbishment of hydraulic pump parts, where even microscopic scratches can lead to pressure loss, noise, overheating or internal leakage. The machine removes micron-level layers of material, restoring perfect flatness and smoothness required for proper sealing and efficient operation.
The device uses a counter-rotating movement of the lapping plate and the working rings, ensuring uniform material removal and a stable abrasive film. Smooth speed control, an integrated timer, and an automatic abrasive feed system make the process fully repeatable and predictable.
Hydrolap Expert 170 allows lapping of three parts simultaneously, provided they are similar in shape and mass. Its heavy-duty construction (294 kg), ergonomic design and intuitive control panel ensure stability and safe operation in workshop environments.
